Recorded in 2007, this EP is the culmination of three years of writing and live performance to perfect the songs. Jason Nahrung of The Courier Mail (May 2007) described the band's debut EP 'not here' as "a polished collection, with plenty of chop and change, and fetching flourishes of guitar and effects. It is underpinned by drums and bass, the whole an exercise in artistic restraint, all the pieces fitting together to tell the story – and no more. And then there's Specht-Whyte's voice, ranging from a throaty growl to a soaring high. When she says the band is influenced by Tool, Muse and A Perfect Circle, it doesn't surprise."
